Lessons Learnt? is a report published by the Sutton Trust in October 2024. Written by education commentator Sam Freedman, it is a fascinating overview of the impact of education policy over the last 50 years. 

I entered teaching in 1994 and it is a salutary experience to see much of my teaching career covered in what at times feels like a historical textbook. It is testament to Sam’s always excellent work that it resonates with my memories and my experiences.
