My baby brother Adam* lives in Costa Rica. I have been lucky enough to visit him over there and experience a whole other culture and way of living.
During my visit, I also got to visit and work in a school (a friend of my brother’s, brother was in an equivalent sixth form at the local school and they insisted – that’s very much the culture in Costa Rica. 17yrs old, his name is Alan).
It was fascinating to learn about an education system with a completely different focus to ones I had experienced before (see my research in Finland and the Dominican Republic).
