My top 3 lessons to improve behaviour in schools;

#1. You have to look at the elephant in the corridor first.🐘

I’m generally a positive person – but when it comes to shifting behaviour cultures in schools, I have to keep that in check –

– To successfully improve behaviour in a school or college you HAVE to begin with what’s ACTUALLY going on, even when it’s not great to admit –
The messy,
stinky,
difficult,
aggressive,
exhausting,
parent-complaints,
hard-to-recruit
staff-off-sick factors that are getting in the way of learning.

If a school or college is not ready to do this, then we’re all wasting energy, because we can’t get to the root of the issues (and I will politely advise that I am not the person to support you).
