For those of you who have read my book “Miss, I don’t give a sh*t” Engaging with Challenging Behaviour in Schools you will recognise Frédérique’s short interview with me in Chapter Four. Having had the pleasure of working alongside Frédérique for nearly 3 years in Alternative Provision settings, I always benefit from understanding the kind of pupils we support from her therapeutic experience and knowledge. For my Behaviour Membership this year, I was keen to get her in and continue the conversation. The highlights of which I have summarised in this post.

Frédérique has now written her own book, Trauma and Teens: A Guide and Toolbox for Working Towards Wellbeing  in Schools and Homes which I thoroughly recommend to everyone working within education, and I will be reviewing it here in the blog in the coming months.
