The #1 thing that needs to happen in order for behaviour to improve:

We have to believe that it will.

You could dismiss this as being airy fairy if you like…🧚‍♂️

…how is that serving you?

When we focus on ‘bad’ behaviour we get more of it.

🧠Neuroscience teaches us that –
what we focus on, we get more of

(because the neurological pathways become well grained and easier to go down, so are more likely to go down them again – hence why establishing new habits is hard)

👉So before we put ANY interventions in, we need to believe that there ARE solutions and support for the behaviour that is challenging us in our settings.
