The education system in Britain is not fit for purpose.
We are being asked to increasingly support needs in an environment that works directly against them.

As I propose in the conclusion of “Miss, I don’t give a sh*t” Engaging with Challenging Behaviour in Schools:
“if we have a shared basis of understanding of the differing and yet connected human experience at any one time, then we are on our way to inclusion. People’s differences do not need to merely be tolerated but accepted and integrated into the astounding and fruitful collision of different people bringing their gifts together in co-creation to make positive social and environmental change.” pg. 153

1. In your classroom or school today do one small action within your control that will improve the environment for learning – for your pupils not for Ofst*d. – Writing poetry outside? Sensory breaks? Regulation activities? – improving the learning environment for your pupils improves behaviour.
